Your adventure begins at dawn, when our guide picks you up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Together, we will ascend the breathtaking High Atlas mountains, crossing the Tizi-N´Tichka pass. Here, you will pause to admire the breathtaking panoramas and capture photographs of Berber villages blending into the landscape. You will continue south to the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and setting of legendary movies. After lunch in the village, the route heads to Ouarzazate, the quiet gateway to the desert, and then to the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley, where the Damask roses bloom, and where your day will end.
Waking up in the Dades Valley, you will be delighted with magnificent views, exploring the kasbahs scattered across the landscape. The route continues to the Todra Gorges, a paradise for climbers and nature lovers. After a hike and a comforting lunch, you will head towards the dunes of Merzouga. Here, a camel caravan will take you across the Erg Chebbi. The night awaits you with a dinner under the stars in a nomad tent.
We will start early to witness an unforgettable sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast in Merzouga, you will cross pre-desert landscapes to the Draa Valley, an oasis stretching along Morocco’s longest river. The route will take you back through the Anti Atlas to Ouarzazate, and finally, ascending again through the High Atlas, you will return to Marrakech at sunset, where our guide will accompany you to your hotel, concluding an unforgettable journey.
Pick-up at 08:30 from the hotel where you are staying in Marrakech, with a private vehicle heading towards Ouarzazate crossing the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi Ntichka pass, at an altitude of 2,260m, the highest point in the country. Here, we will enjoy incredible landscapes and make several stops to take photos of the Berber villages. Then we will take a detour on a small road enjoying the beautiful landscapes around us until we reach the Kasbah of Telouat. We visit the Kasbah and enjoy a typical meal of the village. In the afternoon, we continue through the Ounila Valley among Berber villages where families live in adobe houses lost in the mountains until reaching the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit its famous Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). This spectacular setting has been the backdrop for several famous movies like Gladiator, Obelix, Sahara with Penelope Cruz, etc. After visiting the Kasbah, we head towards Ouarzazate, considered the great gateway to the desert. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel.
After breakfast, we depart for the famous Draa Valley, where we will see one of the longest rivers in Morocco. We will make various stops to contemplate the beautiful adobe kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the route and the wonders of the Draa Valley. After lunch in Nkob or Alnif, we continue on a 2-hour route to the impressive dunes of Merzouga, ‘’Desert of Fine Sand Dunes’’, where we will swap our vehicle for ‘’Dromedaries’’ to enter the heart of the dunes and watch an unforgettable sunset. We will arrive at the camp with the dromedaries where we will stay in Haimas, ‘’Tents made with dromedary hair’’ like those used by the nomads of the desert. Dinner and night in Haimas in the heart of the desert under a spectacular blanket of stars.
Meeting with the Sunrise – as you are in the desert it is advisable to get up early to walk to the highest dune around to enjoy the sunrise and this relaxing landscape offered by nature, we will return on dromedaries to the village of Merzouga. After a rich breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the desert and head to Rissani where we will visit its market (if we are lucky and it is one of the market days: Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday). We will continue on the road to Erfoud where there is also a possibility to visit the fossilized marble factory before continuing to the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. 1 hour later we will arrive at one of the strongest points of the High Atlas: The Todra Gorges. The river Todra has formed a gorge of vertical walls of enormous proportions and great beauty; it is a paradise for climbers and a unique place. Lunch on site and a half-hour walk is recommended to see and enjoy the Gorges in detail. In the afternoon we will continue towards the Dades Valley, also known as the Valley of Figs, passing through Boumalne Dades we will stop at the ‘’monkey feet’’. Dinner and night in the Dades Gorges.
After breakfast, we will enjoy one of the best views of the Dades Valley. We will do it from one of the most strategic places offered by the mountains. From there we can observe the number of kasbahs and how picturesque each of them is, then departure towards a road dotted with various Kasbahs of great interest. After several stops to enjoy the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, the Valley of Roses, and The Great Palm Grove of Skoura, we will arrive in Ouarzazate and visit the Taourirt Kasbah, the former residence of the Glaoui or Pasha of Marrakech, Film Studios, and Cinema Museum if you are interested. Lunch in the village and in the afternoon we will depart again towards Marrakech crossing the Tizi Ntichka mountain pass with stops for photos. Here we will leave behind the lunar landscape to give way to the predominant green, ochre… etc. colors. Arrival in Marrakech at about 18h, transfer to the hotel and end of our services.
At 8:30 a.m., our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech. We’ll start our adventure toward Ouarzazate, traversing the majestic High Atlas mountains via the Tizi Ntichka pass, Morocco’s highest peak. Here, your guide will show you breathtaking views, making stops to capture the beauty of Berber villages. We’ll then turn off towards the hidden gem of Telouat Kasbah, where we’ll enjoy a traditional village lunch. In the afternoon, we travel through the Ounila Valley, exploring Berber villages until reaching Ait Ben Haddou, where you’ll discover its famous UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah. We’ll end the day in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, with dinner and accommodation.
After breakfast, we’ll head to the Draa Valley, witnessing one of Morocco’s longest rivers. Our guide will take you through adobe kasbahs and Berber villages, unveiling the valley’s wonders. After lunch, we embark on a two-hour journey to the Merzouga dunes, where we’ll switch our vehicle for dromedaries. Witness a magical desert sunset and spend the night in nomadic Haimas under a starry sky.
We’ll wake up early to see the sunrise from the Great Dune. After breakfast, we’ll circle Erg Chebbi and discover the old Paris-Dakar route. We’ll visit the Tissardmin oasis and meet a nomadic family, learning about their life and customs. Then, in Khamlia, enjoy a Gnawa music concert. The afternoon is free for exploring or climbing nearby dunes. Dinner and accommodation in a local hotel.
After breakfast, we bid farewell to the desert and head towards Rissani to explore its market. Then, we travel to Erfoud and onward to the Todra Gorges, a climber’s paradise. Our guide will take you on a hike to admire the stunning rock formations. In the afternoon, we continue to the Dades Valley, known for its unique natural figures. Dinner and night at the Dades Gorges.
After enjoying views of the Dades Valley, we head towards the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm grove. In Ouarzazate, we’ll visit the Taourirt Kasbah and optionally the film studios. After lunch, we commence our return to Marrakech, crossing the Tizi Ntichka pass. We’ll arrive in Marrakech around 6:00 p.m., where we’ll accompany you to your hotel, concluding our journey filled with unique discoveries and experiences.
Our adventure begins with our arrival at Marrakech airport, where our guide will be waiting to take us to the Riad, located in the heart of the Medina, close to the famous Jamaa el Fna square. This afternoon, we will delve into the Medina, discovering the fascinating Jamaa El Fna Square, a hive of storytellers, fortune-tellers, jugglers, and all kinds of artists. The day will conclude with dinner and accommodation in the Riad.
We leave the Riad in a private vehicle towards Ouarzazate, crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi Ntichka pass. We make several stops to capture the beauty of the Berber villages. Then, we take a detour to the Kasbah of Telouat, where we enjoy a typical meal. In the afternoon, we continue towards the Ounila Valley and finally arrive at the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, visiting its renowned Kasbah. We end the day in Ouarzazate, where we dine and stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, we head to the Draa Valley, observing one of Morocco’s longest rivers and marveling at the adobe kasbahs and Berber villages. After lunch, we continue towards the Merzouga desert, where we exchange our vehicle for camels to venture into the dunes and enjoy an unforgettable sunset. We spend the night in nomadic Haimas, under a starry sky.

After breakfast, we enjoy the views of the Dadés Valley. We visit the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm grove before arriving in Ouarzazate and visiting the Taourirt Kasbah. In the afternoon, we return to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas, to dine and stay in the Riad.
We dedicate the morning to visiting the Medina of Marrakech with a local guide, admiring the wall, the Koutoubia Minaret, and other emblematic sites. The afternoon is spent freely, exploring the souks or discovering hidden corners of the Medina. Dinner and accommodation in the Riad.
We have breakfast and enjoy the morning free until the agreed time to transfer to the airport. There, our guide will assist us with our luggage and show us the departure gate, thus concluding our journey.
