They will guide you through changing landscapes to Chefchaouen, the blue village nestled majestically in the Rif Mountains. Here, you’ll walk through winding streets, admiring houses painted in shades of blue and white, discovering hidden squares, and local craft shops. Your guide will reveal the stories and legends that make Chefchaouen so special. The day will conclude with a delicious traditional dinner in a cozy Riad, where Moroccan hospitality will make you feel at home.
Leaving behind the tranquility of Chefchaouen, your guide will take you on a journey back in time to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Here, amidst mosaics and columns, history comes alive. Then, you’ll visit Moulay Idriss, a hidden gem radiating spirituality and tradition. Finally, you’ll immerse yourself in the heart of Moroccan culture in Fez. At dawn, your journey leads you to Rabat, the political heartbeat of Morocco. Here, you’ll explore the distinctive red ochre ramparts, spanning over 5 kilometers, a legacy of Sultan Yacoub el-Mansour. Your guide will lead you through the vibrant medina and to the Hassan II Tower, an architectural marvel with its uniquely adorned facades. The day continues to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic hub, where you will enjoy dinner and a restful night at a hotel.

Departing from Fes, head towards Volubilis with a brief pause at the sacred city of Moulay Idriss to view the remnants of the ancient Roman city. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Chaouen, offering free time to explore this charming blue town.

After waking up in the Riad and enjoying a traditional breakfast, you will start a guided exploration of Fez. You will begin in the new part of the city, approaching the royal palace and the Jewish quarter (Mellah). Your guide will take you to a viewpoint to contemplate the medina and then immerse you in its labyrinthine streets, where the bustle of its inhabitants will transport you to past times. You will admire the architecture and traditional crafts, and marvel at the Magana Bounania, a medieval clock that still persists over time. The day ends with dinner at the Riad.
The day begins heading south, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Ifrane, known as the «Moroccan little Switzerland». Here, you will stop to admire the statue of the Atlas lion, symbol of the city. Next, your route will take you through the cedar forests, where you will have the opportunity to see and feed the Gibraltar monkeys. After lunch in Midélt, the landscape will transform into a tapestry of geological formations and fertile valleys. As you approach the desert, the architecture will change to adobe and scattered kasbahs, announcing your arrival at the impressive Merzouga Dunes. After the hospitality tea, you will climb the dunes adjacent to the hotel to enjoy a spectacular sunset, followed by dinner and accommodation in a hotel near the dunes.
This day will be entirely dedicated to the desert. After breakfast, you will circle the Erg Chebbi, the largest expanse of sand dunes in the country, and follow a route similar to the old Paris-Dakar rally, with the mountains bordering Algeria as a backdrop. You will visit an oasis and a nomadic settlement, where your guide will share secrets of desert life and customs. Later, you will arrive in Khamlia, a village with roots in Mali, where you will enjoy Gnawa music and a relaxing tea. The afternoon reserves a camel caravan into the heart of the dunes, culminating with an unforgettable sunset and a night in nomadic Haimas under a starry sky.
The sixth day begins with an exciting sunrise in the dunes, followed by a return on camels to Merzouga and a nutritious breakfast. You will bid farewell to the desert and head towards Rissani, where you can explore its market if it coincides with market days. Then, the route will take you to Erfoud, with the option of visiting a fossilized marble factory. The journey continues through palm groves and changing landscapes until reaching the Todra Gorges, a gorge with vertical walls and impressive beauty. After lunch and a walk through the area, you will continue to the Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in the Dades Gorges.
At dawn, you will witness one of the most spectacular views of the Dades Valley. Next, your guide will take you on a route revealing kasbahs and landscapes of the Central High Atlas. You will visit a nomadic family living in caves in the Boutagrar Valley, a journey back in time. Then, you will arrive at the Rose Valley and the Skoura palm grove, before arriving in Ouarzazate for dinner and accommodation.
You will explore Ouarzazate, including the Taourirt kasbah and film studios, before heading to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, your journey will take you to Marrakech through the impressive Tizi N’Tichka pass. The afternoon will provide free time to explore the vibrant Jamaa el Fna Square.
With a local guide, you will explore the Medina of Marrakech, discovering emblematic places such as the Koutoubia Minaret and the Saadian Tombs. You will have free time to lose yourself in the souks and discover hidden corners of the medina. The night includes dinner and accommodation in a Riad.
Leaving Marrakech behind, you will visit the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Then, you will continue to Asilah, where you will explore the old part of the city and its port, before having dinner and staying in a Riad.
On your last day, you will have free time in Asilah to explore at your own pace. When the time comes, your guide will assist you in the transfer back to Tangier, either to the port or airport, thus concluding your immersion in the fascinating Berber world.
